Pastor Mahari
Pastor Mahari is the pastor-teacher of Blessed Hope Ministries in Springfield, Ma.
Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Mahari was brought up under the Rastafarian religion, although he always suspected that God was directing him on another path. At the early age of 12 years old, Mahari relocated to the United States.
In 1997, under the powerful teachings and leadership of the late Bishop James Brown, Mahari totally committed his life to Christ. Though this commitment came with various trials, tests, and tribulations, Mahari was determined to go through this journey while looking toward the hills from whence cometh his help.
Humbly, Mahari began in ministry as an usher all the while learning and studying the Word of God. In 1999, Mahari was ordained as a licensed minister. With zeal, he taught and witnessed to any and everyone who was willing to listen.
In 2008, God decided to use Mahari in a different capacity and Mahari was ordained as a Pastor. Mahari was dedicated to the calling and his desire was to share Jesus, in hopes of seeing lives changed by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ.
In 2018, God beckoned Pastor Mahari to build and establish a church after God’s own heart. Thus, the birth of Blessed Hope Ministries. The emphasis of his pulpit ministry is the careful study and verse-by-verse explanation of the Bible. Under Mahari’s leadership, Blessed Hope Ministries’ members participate each month in fellowship groups, bible studies, and outreach and each are dedicated to equipping members to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Mahari and his wife, Lady Shale live in Springfield, Ma and have six children: Tianah, Tymahariah, Mahari Jr., Myla, Micah, and Mackenzie. Pastor Mahari is an experienced supervisor in a manufacturing company and has worked in the field for 15+ years. Shale is Real Estate Agent but enjoys time within the home. They enjoy family time and are advocate believers in establishing family morals and standards.
